Athens in Color

As I mentioned in a previous post, my recent trip to Greece was the first time in a few years that I tried to shoot exclusively in black and white. Most of my lenses are well suited for monochrome and as fun as it was to change things up, sometimes there’s just no substitute for living color.

Athens is such a vibrant city and I’m excited to return at some point in the future. In the meantime, here’s a second batch of fully saturated photos!

  1. It’s so interesting to see these photos. The first photos don’t look at all like what I would have imagined Athens to look like. Some of the photos remind me of parts of Israel. Then your views of the city from above are more familiar (based on other photos I’ve seen).

    1. Thanks, Paul! Athens certainly isn’t the tropical Greek island environment people may think of when they imagine the Mediterranean, but it’s a really cool city nonetheless.
